Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strategic sales background and a hunter mentality.
Player-coach responsible for leading the Commercial team, developing and executing team strategy. Accountable for overall team performance. Will leverage existing network and industry knowledge to develop leads. If successful, the candidate may transition to managing only the team without individual sales responsibilities.
Lead monthly pipeline reviews, providing accurate updates on forecasts using Salesforce.
Manage all elements of the sales cycle within the assigned territory, focusing on new accounts, including prospecting, follow-up, business value analysis, pricing, negotiations, proposal development, and closing.
Execute sales strategies and territory plans to surpass revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
Develop detailed business cases and ROI scenarios to demonstrate the value of opportunities.
Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends.
Provide innovative ideas to enhance market presence.
Maintain relationships with existing customers, gather feedback, and improve customer satisfaction, product development, and market understanding.
Provide input to product management, communicating customer and market needs.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of IDEMIA products, technical architecture, industry characteristics, and the competitive environment.
Respond to solution and product inquiries.
Collaborate with Sales Director and VP to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade shows.
Foster a positive sales culture and sales-centric environment within the team.
Maintain a contact database and report sales activities regularly.
Set and monitor performance goals, including forecasts and revenue targets.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial sector.
Experience leading a sales team.
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
Deep understanding of the commercial sales process.
Experience in Smart Credentials and Identity Management is a plus.
Experience managing pipelines in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Strong leadership skills with capabilities in business development, proposing innovative solutions, value propositioning, and motivating teams.
Experience working collaboratively with business partners.
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple objectives, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Strong problem-solving skills.
