Sr Director, Pricing

The Sr, Director Pricing will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Learning Care Group’s pricing strategy across all schools. This role is responsible for setting tuition rate methodology, guiding discounting practices, and building models to maximize total revenue and revenue per enrollment. The Sr. Director will oversee a team responsible for setting prices, analysis, testing, and reporting and will work cross-functionally with field operations, marketing, and Finance to ensure pricing strategies align with market dynamics and school-level realities.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for ownership of the pricing methodology and tuition rate setting across all markets.
Develop and manage the annual pricing calendar in coordination with operations, marketing, and finance.
Set discounting guardrails and lead reporting on discount effectiveness.
Build pricing models that reflect school-level utilization, asset quality, and local competitive data.
Incorporate frameworks for private pay, subsidized care, and market dynamics.
Set pricing strategy for acquisitions, grand openings, and re-launches, including due diligence input on revenue upside.
Develop pricing segmentation frameworks based on customer value, service usage, market tier, and demand elasticity.
Design and implement tuition flexibility models driven by enrollment trends.
Maximize revenue and margin for tuition and ancillary offerings in partnership with operations, experience and education teams.
Collaborate with marketing and field teams to develop and test promotional pricing offers.
Lead test-and-learn strategies, including A/B testing and elasticity modeling, using APT and other pricing tools.
Monitor price realization, discount leakage, and margin erosion; implement controls to ensure guardrail adherence.
Partner with operations and finance to incorporate cost-to-serve analytics into pricing decisions.
Ensure data accuracy standards for pricing inputs.
Partner with BI to define dashboards and KPIs (e.g., utilization, revenue per enrollment, elasticity, price realization).
Evaluate tools and automation opportunities to improve pricing speed and decision quality.
Lead pricing-related change initiatives across departments to ensure smooth execution and communication.
Align with field leadership, operations, and marketing to ensure pricing strategies are executable and customer-aligned.
Facilitate monthly cross-functional pricing reviews with senior leaders to evaluate performance and gather input.
Present pricing trends, market and competitive analysis, and business implications to executive leadership.
Prepare pricing-related materials for executive and board-level meetings.
Maintain a pricing playbook and toolkit for consistency across the organization
Educate field teams and leaders on pricing rationale, strategy, and performance impact
Foster a high-performance, analytical culture focused on execution and decision support
Set and prioritize team objectives in alignment with revenue and margin goals
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field required.
MBA or relevant Master’s degree, preferred.
10+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or FP&A with strong focus on pricing strategy required.
5+ years’ experience leading pricing functions in multi-unit services or subscription-based business (childcare, early education, healthcare, fitness, hospitality, or similar fields) required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Skilled in PowerBI, APT, or similar tools.
Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and internal teams.
Exceptional ability to communicate with executive presence, communicate, and present to a variety of stakeholders including Board Members, Executives, and Private Equity sponsors.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
Base salary range: $168-185k
This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.
