Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Food & Nutrition Services to lead and oversee all aspects of foodservice operations a 150 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. This role is responsible for managing patient dining, retail and cafeteria services, and catering operations, while fostering strong relationships across the hospital campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily operations of the Food & Nutrition department, ensuring high-quality service for patients, staff, and visitors

Deliver exceptional food quality and presentation across all dining areas

Develop and manage departmental budgets to maximize value while maintaining cost control

Oversee safety, sanitation, and facility maintenance programs

Build and maintain positive relationships with hospital leadership, staff, and guests

Support professional development, performance management, and engagement of team members

Ensure alignment of foodservice operations with the overall goals and vision of the healthcare facility

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

5+ years of proven leadership in foodservice management, preferably in healthcare or contract services

2-4 years of hands-on experience with foodservice operations, purchasing, and inventory control

Strong understanding of food and catering trends, production, sanitation, and cost control

Experience managing P&L and financial performance

ServSafe® certification preferred

A forward-thinking, proactive leader who can serve as the face of the foodservice program
