Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a world-class leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.

Parsons is looking for an experienced Finance Lead!
In this role, you will provide high-quality financial management information and professional advice to senior management regarding financial strategy, planning, analysis, and reporting.
Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with 75% travel to the NCR.
What You'll Be Doing:
Review key business objectives and develop financial strategies to support their delivery.
Deliver financial analysis and solutions aligned with business strategies.
Develop and implement effective financial procedures, initiating changes to meet targets.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
Produce monthly financial statements to support decision-making.
Contribute to corporate reporting on financial performance.
Ensure contractor invoices comply with internal payment procedures and are paid timely.
Investigate significant budget variances and recommend remedial actions.
Maintain up-to-date financial reports and records per policies.
Oversee resources, projects, and finances management.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance Management, or Accounting (Master’s preferred).
Chartered Accountant Certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred.
10+ years of financial management, analysis, and budgeting experience.
Experience with government programs and financial, contractual, and risk management.
Strong background in P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash flow, etc.
US Person status.

Leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
Proficiency in English and MS Office Suite.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, supporting US government missions globally in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
Salary Range: $186,800 - $357,100
