Position Summary
We are seeking a versatile and action-oriented Senior Director of Marketing to join Plannernets leadership team and lead our marketing efforts across channels, teams, and geographies.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally skilled at setting strategy and executing with urgency. As a key member of our leadership team, youll collaborate cross-functionally with Executives, Sales, Customer Success, and Supplier Relations to shape the companys growth trajectory and bring our vision to life in the market.
You will be responsible for defining our brand narrative, driving demand generation, supporting revenue growth, and bringing freshness and energy to our storytelling and market presence. This role requires a mix of creativity, commercial awareness, and operational discipline, with a strong ability to manage freelance resources to extend execution power.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and lead the execution of an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
Drive initiatives focused on customer acquisition, retention, and brand visibility
Identify and manage freelance or agency partners to execute marketing initiatives efficiently
Brand & Content Development
Oversee content development across digital, print, and experiential channels
Ensure consistent and modern representation of the brand across platforms
Create compelling messaging and storytelling to showcase Plannernet's capabilities
Sales & Growth Enablement
Collaborate with Sales to build prospecting campaigns and growth strategies
Develop and maintain sales collateral, presentations, and pitch support
Align marketing efforts with key industry events and strategic partnerships
Marketing Operations
Manage marketing tools and platforms (CRM, email marketing, analytics)
Analyze campaign performance and marketing ROI; report findings to executive leadership
Oversee marketing budget and resource planning
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in relevant industry events and conferences to enhance brand presence
Leverage freelance resources as needed to scale capabilities
Continuously evaluate trends and incorporate best practices into Plannernets marketing approach
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Skills and Experience:
7+ years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Experience blending strategic planning and tactical execution
Strong background in B2B marketing, preferably in services or technology-enabled services
Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to work with freelancers or agency resources
Proficiency with CRM, email automation tools, analytics platforms
Strong writing, communication, and brand storytelling capabilities
Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Meetings and Events industry
