The Solutions Consulting Director will work closely with Sales to lead complex product discussions with prospects and clients, identify needs, and map them to our solutions. The consultant’s expertise in retail banking will be key to uncovering value in client requests and guiding Product and Engineering with insights that drive impactful, tailored solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact between the products team and clients, translating complex use cases into actionable strategies.
Participate in the sales cycle across bank specific sales channels and collaborate with Sales leaders to identify and uncover a prospect’s business goals, needs, and pains for clients.
Drive the ideation, planning, and launch of the next generation of Data Products with an emphasis on research and market insights.
Take ownership of defining, managing, and prioritizing product roadmap while ensuring successful launches and ongoing support.
Write business requirements documents (BRDs) and product requirements in sufficient detail to evaluate, build & launch products. Work with business analysts and partner closely with development teams (internal or external) to ensure clarity of requirements and effective delivery.
Speak frequently with customers to develop a deep understanding of their research requirements and use cases. Translate these needs into actionable product requirements.
Support business development and sales efforts by being a thought leader and resource on core Yodlee products.
Support product-market fit for the Retail Banking market spanning data enrichment, financial wellness applications, consumer insights, subscription management, and other financial related use cases, including credit lending and data analytics.
Create client specific presentations that clearly articulate solution capabilities and lead strategic discussions with prospects and/or clients.
Participate in Quarterly Business Review sessions with clients to promote stronger relationships and drive adoption and usage of Yodlee solutions.
Provide guidance and feedback on the product roadmap and participate in the development of competitive and market trends research to help drive innovation.
Ensure compliance with Yodlee’s solution protocols and policies.
Identify and document solution opportunities and work with other business units to prioritize new solution features that address client requirements or feedback.
Deliver deep dive architecture and integration discussions
Support all documentation initiatives to continuously improve and support the delivery process.
Collaborate with product development teams to design and implement new solution features and functionalities.
Effectively articulate the steps to implement Yodlee solutions and products and the benefits of Consulting & Delivery during a project.
Provide coaching and training to Solutions Consultants and the Customer Success team.
Oversee the RFI/RFP responses and manage process improvements for a more streamlined presales approach.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Yodlee’s established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years relevant experience in the Banking Industry
2-5 years of demonstrated experience in a client-facing role in various stages, including but not limited to, pre-sales, solutions delivery, and client experience.
Experience with Retail and Small Business Internet Banking applications and their functionality
Experience with Personal Finance Management (PFM) systems
Experience with Agile methodologies, especially prioritization and managing flexible project scopes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation/presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to express goals, strategies, and concepts.
Strong written and verbal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally to convey complex data insights clearly.
Superior organization, planning, time/workload management, risk identification, and mitigation capabilities to plan and execute activities with defined goals.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and balance/manage multiple concurrent, competing activities and timelines with appropriate prioritization and focus.
Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement and collaborating with leadership to implement solutions.
Experience reviewing contracts and working with Legal teams to draft and execute agreements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT and Copilot).
Soft Skills:
Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with retail bank business and product owners, financial advisors, wealth managers, and product development teams.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Industry Knowledge
Solid understanding of the Banking Industry as well as FinTech, Payments, Wealth Management, Healthcare, Insurance and financial markets.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations relevant to financial data (e.g., FINRA, SEC).
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales/technology experience in the Financial Services vertical preferred
Online Personal Financial Management (PFM), online banking, mobile banking experience a major plus

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $190,000.
