A fast-growing, multi-vertical entertainment company is seeking a Social Media Director to oversee the full social media ecosystem across its portfolio of music, film, publishing, digital, and live event brands. This leadership role blends cultural fluency with strategic insight, creative instinct, and data expertise. You’ll own the strategy and execution across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Threads, Facebook, Discord, and emerging platforms—ensuring major releases across multiple verticals are aligned and amplified. You’ll manage internal content teams, collaborate with talent, and coordinate with agencies and partners to deliver high-impact results. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record managing culturally relevant campaigns and building high-engagement communities. You’ll need to be both creative and analytical, fluent in platform performance metrics, and comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environments.
Key Responsibilities Lead cross-platform strategy and execution across all major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Threads, Facebook, X, Discord, Twitch, and others)
Oversee unified social campaigns across music, film, publishing, merchandise, and live events
Manage internal teams, freelance content creators, and external creative agencies
Work closely with talent and influencers to drive engagement and visibility
Develop and enforce consistent brand voice across all verticals and channels
Stay on top of social trends and algorithm shifts to guide content direction+
Track, report, and optimize campaign performance using Sprout, Looker, and native dashboards
Approve creative and conceptual social content aligned with brand identity
Research and test emerging platforms and tools to stay ahead of the curve
Ensure social strategy aligns with broader marketing, PR, and content goals
Qualifications 7–12 years of experience in social media, with 2–3 years in a leadership or director-level role
Deep understanding of multi-platform strategy and execution within entertainment, music, or youth-driven brands
Strong analytics background (Sprout, Looker, Meta/Google dashboards, etc.)
Experience managing teams and collaborating with both internal and external partners
Demonstrated ability to lead content campaigns across multiple formats and platforms
Knowledge of subcultures, counterculture, music scenes, and emerging internet aesthetics
Experience working with talent and influencer partners in dynamic content ecosystems
Strong organizational, strategic, and communication skills
Currently resides in Nashville.
