About the Role We’re hiring a Tax Director on behalf of our client, a respected public accounting firm committed to client-focused service and strategic excellence. This role is ideal for a CPA with deep public accounting experience who excels at leading tax strategy, advising complex client portfolios, and driving firm-wide tax innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead the firm’s tax practice, developing strategic initiatives to drive client success and firm growth Advise high-net-worth individuals, private clients, nonprofits, and estates on complex tax matters Mentor and lead a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration Oversee technical tax review and ensure full compliance with current laws and standards Collaborate across audit and advisory teams to provide comprehensive client service What We’re Looking For 10+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting firm CPA license required; Master’s in Taxation preferred Expertise in federal, state, and local tax codes and advanced tax research Strong leadership and executive communication skills Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx Why Work With Us?
