What You’ll Do: As a Senior Program Manager / Director, you will leverage your Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree to be the technical leader on complex automation projects from concept through delivery, which range from high volume to high complexity. As a true Program Manager, you will be the SPOC for our client and their customers within a defined segment. You’ll act as the primary engineering liaison between the customer, project management, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical solutions meet performance requirements, budget, and schedule. Key Responsibilities: Lead the engineering design, development, and integration of advanced automation systems. Collaborate closely with clients to define requirements, specifications, and performance objectives. Translate customer requirements into detailed engineering plans and system architecture. Oversee and coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and controls engineers. Troubleshoot complex technical issues during build, integration, and commissioning phases. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering staff. Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and client updates. What You Need to Have: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related field). 8+ years of Engineering and Program Management experience, with at least 3 years in automation or capital equipment design. Proven track record of leading complex engineering programs from concept to delivery. Strong understanding of mechanical design, motion control, robotics, sensors, and automation technologies. The Musts: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills. Hands-on approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
