About the Role: We are actively seeking a Senior Medical Director to lead the clinical development of our neuromuscular asset. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary clinical development leader, working alongside internal teams and external stakeholders to drive our mission forward. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the lead physician in all clinical development activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine clinical development plans. Lead the design and writing of clinical trial protocols. Oversee the medical monitor to ensure continuous safety monitoring of the drug. Engage with global health authorities and represent the company during key discussions. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in neuromuscular and/or rare diseases preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with expertise in leading late-stage clinical trials. A proven track record in global clinical research and effective interaction with health authorities. Experience with end-of-phase 2 and/or NDA/BLA processes. Strong background in clinical trial design, methodology, and statistical concepts. Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional product teams, showcasing outstanding communication and organizational skills. Additional Information: This position may require up to 20% travel and will be part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
