This position reports to the Product Marketing Director and is part of the marketing strategy team, working closely with colleagues across the business. Basware is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Marketing & Competitive Intelligence to help shape the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for key products in our portfolio. This role combines product marketing leadership with responsibility for integrating competitive intelligence and win/loss analysis to support sales and product teams. You’ll also lead the implementation of an AI-driven CI platform to support these efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Product Marketing: Develop and maintain global messaging, positioning, and value propositions for assigned products.
Product launches: Lead product launches, working with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
Sales enablement: Create sales enablement materials, such as pitch decks and solution briefs.
Demand generation and content marketing: Support campaigns.
Internal and external representation: Represent your product portfolio internally and externally.
Competitive Intelligence (CI): Implement and manage Basware’s AI-powered CI platform.
CI workflows and reporting: Define CI workflows and reporting to deliver insights to Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
Win/loss program: Oversee the win/loss program, including platform management and coordination with internal and external partners.
Messaging refinement: Use win/loss insights to refine messaging and sales strategies.
Market monitoring: Monitor competitor activity and market trends and incorporate findings into product marketing.
Qualifications
7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or enterprise software.
Experience launching products and driving adoption.
Familiarity with AI tools for product marketing or competitive intelligence.
Experience with CI platforms (such as Klue, Crayon, or Clozd).
Ability to manage win/loss programs and translate insights into strategy.
Experience with financial services SaaS products is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic mindset with a focus on execution.
