About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Director, Senior Corporate Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the contracts team, with a primary focus on clinical operations, research and development, outsourcing, IT, and quality. This role is pivotal in driving the success of the team and requires a seasoned and highly motivated transactional attorney with a strong background in the life sciences industry. The Senior Director, Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for leading the negotiation and drafting of a variety of business contracts, providing high-quality legal advice, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders. The role also involves identifying legal risks, developing strategies to mitigate exposure, and supporting the company in its mission to advance treatments for serious immunological diseases.

Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and a proven track record in contract drafting and negotiation, particularly in Clinical Trial Agreements. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, innovative, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. A strong commitment to compliance and ethics, superior intellect and judgment, and a proactive, responsive service mentality are essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, the ability to work independently, and a passion for the goal of restoring health and improving the lives of patients. Experience in the biotechnology industry and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is a plus.
