Snowflake is searching for an exceptional Senior Director of Treasury reporting to the VP / Treasurer to help lead our high-performing Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing treasury strategies that directly underpin Snowflake's rapid expansion and our mission to mobilize the world's data with the AI Data Cloud. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in Snowflake’s Dublin, CA office. What you'll do Lead and empower a high-performing global Treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Develop complex financial models (investment analytics, capital structure, interest rate derivatives, convertible bonds, interest income forecast, FX exposure, DCF, Liability Management, etc.). Assist the Treasurer and collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, IR, and other stakeholders to support investment and capital market activities. Help lead and strengthen investment management relationships and capital markets banking relationships. Champion process improvement, automation and innovative solutions to scale treasury functions. Partner with Finance and other business teams, leveraging data and automation to scale capabilities and empower the team. Lead investment strategies, optimizing returns in alignment with Snowflake's risk profile and liquidity needs, contributing to long-term financial health. Identify, assess, and manage financial risks and credit exposures alongside the Treasurer, safeguarding Snowflake's assets. Our ideal candidate will have Impressive knowledge of financial theory and the ability to translate it into practice. A track record of accomplishments in Treasury, financial analysis/modeling, investments, process automation, and cross-functional partnership in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand financial trends, translate market dynamics into actionable treasury strategies, and influence executive leadership. Experience with credit rating agencies, debt management, and capital structure strategy, including share repurchase and various financing strategies. Deep, hands-on expertise in advanced modeling, complex financial risk management (FX, interest rate, credit), and strategic investment portfolio management. Strong analytical thinking with a proven ability to drive efficiency and implement transformative solutions through process re-engineering and technology adoption. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective influence and collaboration with executive stakeholders and external financial partners; ability to develop a strong team. Proactive, highly adaptable, and thriving in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, high-pace environment. Challenge-seeking mindset and comfort with complex work assignments. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
