Job Summary:
Responsible for managing all aspects of the Rehabilitation Services Department. The Rehabilitation Services Department at Erlanger Health System encompasses Baroness Campus, Erlanger East, and Erlanger North campuses. Services provided include adult acute care PT, OT, SLP, Children's Therapy PT, OT, SLP, Audiology for acute care and outpatient and Adult Outpatient Therapy services of PT and OT across multiple clinical sites in Tennessee and Georgia.
Education:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree, masters degree, or doctorate required in either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.

Experience:
Required:
- Five years with previous supervisory responsibilities.
Preferred:
- Ten years
Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration
Required:
- Tennessee licensure in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
- BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and to be maintained going forward.
Department Position Summary:
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Audiology
services across multiple sites for Adult and Children's services including Outpatient Therapy services in Tennessee and Georgia. Ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients. Develops and implements strategic plans for the rehabilitation department, aligning with the hospital's overall goals and objectives. Develops and manages the rehabilitation department's budget, including resource allocation and cost control. Ensures compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards. Implements and monitors quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, etc.) to provide integrated patient care. Implements and monitors quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. Manages budgetary, personnel, education, equipment and supply needs for the departments. Participates in special projects as assigned by the Executive Vice-President. Inform Executive Management of operational issues and opportunities. Responds to the needs of customers, including physicians, patients, visitors and associates. Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and implements performance improvement plans.
