About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Publishing and Content Strategy to spearhead our publishing initiatives and drive business unit objectives with a strong focus on revenue growth and timely content delivery. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the content strategy for various offerings while supporting the needs of our professional development division. Your responsibilities will include managing the annual budget to meet financial goals and creating a comprehensive plan for custom services.
As a leader, you will oversee a team of publication managers and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to enhance and expand our content offerings. You will also be instrumental in identifying new business development opportunities and will be an integral member of the Content Hub group, utilizing innovative technology solutions to streamline the publishing workflow.
To qualify for this role, candidates should possess a BA or BS degree, with advanced certifications in executive leadership being advantageous. A minimum of 10 years of experience in publishing and product management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role, is essential. We are looking for someone with strong commercial insight into professional publishing, learning, or membership associations within the non-profit sector, as well as experience in content management and technology-driven monetization.
Key skills include the ability to transform strategies into actionable plans, exceptional communication abilities, and outstanding time management. This role may involve up to 30% travel, depending on the work arrangement.
