We are seeking a Senior Director of Facilities to lead and manage all aspects of facility operations across Endeavor Schools’ nationwide network. This role oversees the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our schools and support offices, ensuring every environment reflects our mission to provide high-quality educational spaces for children and staff. The Senior Director will manage capital projects, renovations, and expansions, driving excellence in planning, budgeting, and vendor management, while ensuring compliance with safety, licensing, and environmental standards. This leader will develop and manage the facilities budget with a focus on efficiency and long-term sustainability, champion preventive maintenance and emergency preparedness, and foster strong collaboration with School Leaders and Operations teams, all while mentoring and developing a high-performing facilities team. Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong project management and problem-solving abilities. Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on facility management. Proficient in budgeting, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. Adept at collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Operations teams. Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, EPA, and life-safety regulations. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered). 7–10 years of progressive facilities management experience, including oversight of multi-site portfolios in regulated environments (education, healthcare, or similar). Demonstrated expertise in preventive maintenance, capital projects, and compliance oversight. Proven track record of leading teams and managing cross-functional initiatives. Certifications such as IFMA CFM/FMP, OSHA safety training, EPA, or other facilities-related licenses are preferred. Why work for us? Because we truly care about our people!
