Position Title Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Operations Job Summary The Senior Director of Business Intelligence is responsible for leading the organization’s business intelligence function to define and drive strategic, operational, and organizational improvements. This role manages a team of analysts and project coordinators, uses advanced analytics to provide actionable insights, and collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer and other senior leaders to support business objectives. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the business intelligence strategy aligned with the organization’s goals, ensuring data analytics support decision-making at all levels. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Analytics Development: Oversee design and implementation of advanced analytics models and tools, including dashboards, reports, and predictive analytics, to drive insights. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executives and department heads to identify data needs and develop tailored analytics solutions for strategic initiatives. Performance Measurement: Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of initiatives and adjust strategies based on data analysis. Training and Development: Provide training and support on BI tools and best practices to promote data literacy across the organization. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Experience : Minimum 5-7 years in business intelligence or data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Relevant healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Technical Skills : Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), SQL, data warehousing, and advanced analytics techniques. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of turning data into actionable insights. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences. Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams. Healthcare Experience : Healthcare provider experience is a plus.
