Senior Director, Legal - Infrastructure, Trust & Digital Resilience Legal Salesforce is seeking a Senior Director, Legal - Infrastructure, Trust & Digital Resilience Legal. The role leads the team responsible for providing strategic guidance and practical counsel on the legal aspects of infrastructure, including cybersecurity, trust and digital resilience, and service availability for cloud computing and AI services. The successful candidate will partner with the Chief Infrastructure Officer’s organization and with Government Affairs to shape policy and regulatory strategy, and will play a key role in the company\'s AI transformation for legal compliance matters.
Work arrangement : This position is an office-hybrid (3 days per week) role based in Salesforce’s offices in San Francisco, New York City, Washington, D.C., or Chicago; remote will not be considered.

Responsibilities Strategic legal partner to the Chief Infrastructure Officer, Chief Trust Officer, Chief Availability Officer, and their leadership teams on issues related to cloud computing infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital resilience, including incident response, regulator and customer notification, and board reporting.
Develop and implement operational frameworks and processes for legal requirements concerning infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital resilience.
Provide hands-on, practical legal support to enable the Infrastructure organization to design and build secure, effective environments.
Lead global teams delivering day-to-day legal counsel and operations for cybersecurity and digital resilience compliance, including audits, assessments, and reporting.
Partner with business teams and Government Affairs to set policy priorities and translate developments into actionable guidance for internal teams.
Collaborate with Global Privacy, Product, and AI Legal teams to build cybersecurity and digital resilience requirements into product requirements and processes.
Partner with Corporate Governance Legal on SEC reporting strategy and requirements.
Collaborate with Litigation on investigations as needed.
Serve as resident expert on cybersecurity and digital resilience issues, delivering training, guidelines, and real-time advice to operational teams.
Required Skills / Experience Significant legal experience focused on digital resilience and cybersecurity, including developing and implementing operational solutions for complex challenges.
Expertise in global cybersecurity and digital resilience laws, including SEC disclosure requirements; ability to translate these requirements into operational procedures.
Strong familiarity with global privacy and data protection laws; ability to advise on the intersection of privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity.
Proven ability to lead and manage legal teams in an operational context, driving efficient support.
Experience interacting with regulators and policy makers.
Cloud computing and AI subject matter expertise.
Desired Skills / Experience Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field.
Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance legal operations, especially in incident response and compliance reporting.
