Senior Director of Human Resources for a global Fortune 500 life sciences leader. Location: San Jose or Sunnyvale, CA (4 days onsite / 1 remote). Compensation: Up to $250K base + 30% bonus + relocation assistance. Role summary: Partner directly with executive leadership to develop and execute human capital strategies that drive business performance, enable organizational growth, and foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration. Lead all aspects of strategic HR planning, including workforce design, talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness to support high-performing teams in a complex, fast-paced global environment. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred) 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within a Fortune 500 organization Minimum 5 years at the Director level and 2+ years at the Senior Director or VP level Proven success in pharma, biotech, or life sciences sectors strongly preferred Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing strategic HR insight, coaching, and organizational guidance Design and implement HR initiatives that align with long-term business objectives and company values Lead talent planning, succession management, and workforce optimization to support evolving business needs Partner with business leaders to structure teams for agility and efficiency across global operations Drive alignment of HR strategies with financial and operational goals to ensure strong performance outcomes Employment Details
