Job Summary:
The Senior Director of Mountain Dining is responsible for the F&B business results and overall F&B guest experience at Keystone Resort. This position oversees all operations at Keystone’s five outlets, including high-volume quick service restaurants, full-service restaurants, and wedding/event spaces. This leader is a member of the Vail Resorts Mountain Dining Leadership Team, and a key member of the Keystone Mountain Senior Leadership Team, who will work towards driving an overall high-quality resort experience founded on consistent execution of quality and service. This person will collaborate closely with the F&B Center of Excellence Team, as well as peers throughout the company, and align Keystone's Mountain Dining with the Company's best practices while driving results.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for financial results in all outlets, maximizing revenue, managing COGS, labor, and expense to achieve overall contribution targets. Responsible for department strategy supporting revenue generation, curating outlets menu offerings, etc.
Partner with the F&B Central Support Team to drive operational excellence, growth initiatives, financial accountability, and implementation of best practices.
Responsible for overall safe operations and leading a culture of safety for Keystone Mountain Dining.
Responsible for compiling capital project needs for operations, capital expense forecast, project management and execution.
Oversees service guidelines, and ensures operations are maintained at a high level of guest service and employee experience.
Works as a member of the resort's senior leadership team to drive an overall high-quality resort experience.
Build, develop, and hold accountable a talented management team that is aligned with resort goals and culture and can deliver established operational standards.
Responsible for implementation and execution of Vail Resorts F&B SOPs and Best Practices.
Follows company compliance requirements and oversees the compliance of state liquor laws and all health regulations.
Ensures that operations are enforcing sanitation and safety practices, complying with labor laws and company policies, and submitting monthly inventory reports.
Ensures the Mountain Dining department is meeting or exceeding recycling and waste diversion targets and environmental initiatives.
Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Mountain Dining facilities to meet standards for safety, cleanliness and overall appearance, inside and out (including restrooms, snow removal, and exterior signage).
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent.
Extensive restaurant operational experience including front and back of house in multi-unit, high volume, full service, fast casual, quick service operations and events, including weddings and banquets.
Strong track record of leadership growth and team development.
Demonstrated success in leading guest service initiatives.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Ability to partner with colleagues and operate at a senior level.
Preferred:
Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience
ServSafe and TIPS Certifications (will be required prior to start of job)
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

The expected pay range is $116,040.30 - $156,918.84 + annual bonus + equity. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
