The primary responsibility is to provide overall financial leadership to the Category leadership team (SVP of Operations, Sales and Marketing, etc.) on the performance of the business. The incumbent will provide insightful analysis to identify opportunities for growth and/or productivity, act as a key contributor to the Strategic Plan by providing diagnostic information about markets, competitors and company performance, while working effectively with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), product category and Corporate FP&A.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities: • Adheres to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements. • Responsible for monthly analyses of business unit results and communication of results to senior leadership management and ELT. • Responsible for driving, preparing and analyzing the annual budget and forecast processes at the product category level. • Provides insight into performance so that actions can be taken to continuously drive improvements and profitability growth. • Supports the analysis of strategic decisions such as M&A, R&D projects and capital projects. • Effectively communicates with the President and category leadership team as well as the CFO on current business trends, risks and opportunities impacting the business. • Acts as a business advisor to the product category leader providing timely information, required analysis and recommendations that will drive actions to meet business goals both long term and short term. • Responsible for working effectively across functional and reporting lines in accomplishing their responsibilities. • Oversees an effective and timely monthly forecasting process and annual budget process for the Product Category. • Supports business unit Marketing & Sales Leaders with timely, accurate and insightful reports. • Manages the financial aspects of all projects, including quality improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and evaluation of new business/product opportunities. • Performs ad hoc analysis and prepares CAR requests. • Manages Senior Managers of Operations Finance at the site level and coordinates consistent reporting and analyses for the category. • Manages direct reports; performance, development and training process to ensure a highly skilled and engaged workforce. • Responsible for processing and communication of annual performance evaluations, bonus and merit planning for direct reports. • Performs other functions as required.
Education & Experience: Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance. • MBA or advanced degree a plus, but not required.
Experience • 10+ years of related experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills: Specialized Knowledge: • Ability to recognize trends and patterns in the business and strategically look at the business and make recommendations for solutions. • Analytical thinking, modeling and forecasts experience. • Detailed analysis experience including comparisons to budget, forecast and prior year. • Understanding of GAAP accounting.
Specialized Skills and Other: • Database knowledge and strong communication and presentation skills, regularly presenting to management. • Travel up to 15-20% depending on business needs.
