The Senior Director, Residential Revenue role is focused on interacting with the most respected names in the real estate finance industry. This strategic role will focus on identifying and capturing opportunities that help our clients navigate complexity and drive results in a dynamic market. This role is involved in daily discussions with companies that cover a broad spectrum of commercial and residential market participants including domestic and international banks, private equity investors, pension funds, secondary market guarantors, non-bank mortgage originators and servicers, among others.
Preferred locations are CA (LA, San Francisco), Denver, CO and Dallas, TX Essential Job Functions:
Revenue Strategy: Identify and pursue enterprise-level opportunities to drive meaningful revenue and growth. Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on key market segments
Executive Engagement and Building Relationships : Build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers. Understand their strategic goals and how our solutions can help them achieve scale, efficiency, and competitive advantage Act as a trusted advisor to clients by deeply understanding their capital needs and positioning relevant solutions.
Revenue Growth : Own and exceed revenue targets by driving adoption and expansion of our solutions within each client in assigned territory. Originate and grow client relationships across a range of finance stakeholders, including lenders, investors, servicers, and sponsors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work cross-functionally to deploy go-to-market strategies that drive usage and adoption of our solutions. Provide actionable insights from the field to influence product roadmap and positioning.
Sales Planning & Forecasting : Maintain pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting across assigned territory. Design and execute account plans to grow wallet share, long-term value and prioritize high-level opportunities. Track sales activities, pipeline progression, and relationship mapping via CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Continuous Improvement & Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to inform strategy. Serve as a mentor and resource to junior sellers and cross-functional partners where applicable.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in a Director/Principal level role or external equivalent.
Experience in CRE Finance, Operations, capital markets, or B-to-B sales/ business development within the real estate market is preferred
Ability to collaborate and interact with all levels of internal stakeholders across sales, product development and operational teams.
Must be customarily and regularly engaged away from the employer’s place or places of business
50%+ travel
Strong existing network across **banks, life companies, debt funds, real estate investment managers, REITs, and/or institutional capital sources**.
Deep understanding of the CRE capital stack, including senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and equity structures.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach and the ability to close complex transactions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and entrepreneurial environment.
