Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from RBW Consulting I am currently looking for a Director/Senior Director of Business Development for a mid-sized global full service clinical Contract Research organization with a great culture and excellent proposition. They have a new highly innovative and forward thinking CCO and are going through an exciting growth phase globally. This CRO also has a very strong presence and footprint across Europe and are growing globally. The role is an individual sales contributor role. This is a remote role, based anywhere on the east coast of the US. You will focus on winning new business and managing accounts with small to large sized biotechs companies across a broad range of therapeutic areas. In order to be successful in this role you will require a strong network and CRO business development track record in this region, ideally selling full service CRO solutions on the east coast. Responsibilities Achieve agreed upon sales and business development targets, creating and implementing appropriate business development strategies for identified target markets. Prospect to establish a pipeline of sales opportunities and RFPs from potential clients; qualify for competitive advantage, timing, budget, and decision maker. Establish relationships with potential CRO partners to generate RFPs that require a collaborative approach emphasizing each organization\'s strengths to win new business. Meet with potential clients on a regular basis. Utilize Salesforce to track client activities, meetings, and opportunities; provide updates to inform management of current status. Lead and manage the sales process for leads from internal and external sources. Lead the proposals development process for all opportunities with the assigned team to ensure alignment with client expectations, budgets, language, and timelines. Continuously redefine profitable market niches for opportunities based on evidence. Provide input to Marketing to create and implement strategies that support the business development process. Provide input to business development leadership based on territory and industry knowledge to develop targets and plans. Work with the team to secure resources for pre-sales activities and define strategies to support the sales process. Engage with agents and consultants in other geographies to support business development in those markets. Engage with internal research staff to maximize selling opportunities associated with travel schedules. Identify and attend conferences and trade shows to create opportunities.
