SUMMARY: As the Senior Director of Education and Vocational Training, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational and vocational programs. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Programs you will serve as a key leader, driving initiatives that empower individuals to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for sustainable employment and personal growth.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic vision for programs aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate Programs into broader organizational strategies. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of all Programs educational ensuring alignment with industry standards and participant needs Implement best practices in adult education, workforce development, and vocational training Cultivate and maintain partnerships with COC, IDOC, providers, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness Provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of Programs Ensures that all employees meet all grant requirements by providing customized training or professional development opportunities. Assists in managing, training staff, and reviewing production for newly implemented programs. Develops and reviews diversified curriculum. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, emphasizing continuous learning and professional development. Establish metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and success of education and vocational training programs. Prepare regular reports for leadership and funders, highlighting program achievements and areas for improvement. Implements evidence-based programming and services based on the needs of the attendees; conduct analysis of program effectiveness. Completes and reviews funders' reports for each department program
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or 5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required: CADC is required Or NCRS . Computer skills required:); Internet Software; (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Microsoft Products; and other programs as required.
