As a Sales Executive, you'll have a crucial role in cultivating customer relationships and driving business growth. What You'll Do as a Sales Executive: Be the Customer Champion: Cultivate and sustain customer relationships in a team-oriented selling model. Guide customers through ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations, and pricing strategies to ensure their success. Drive Sales Success: Your success will be gauged by your ability to sell to customers, increase case growth, and acquire new business. Achieve this through impactful sales presentations and customizing your approach for individual clients. Effective time and territory management are vital. Team-Based Selling: Collaborate with Specialists to maximize top penetration opportunities and support new accounts. Work closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service to guarantee seamless product delivery. Lead with Insight: Develop new business by identifying prospective customers utilizing market intelligence databases, business directories, existing client leads, and active participation in organizations, clubs, trade shows, and conferences. Delivery Resolution: Oversee deliveries according to the routing schedule set by the transportation department; resolve any issues that arise during the order process, such as delivery mispicks, short loads, or stock-outs. Competitive Advantage: Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitor offerings; share valuable insights with customers as part of the service provided. Stay on the Move: Use your personal vehicle for regular check-ins, site visits, and follow-ups, ensuring customer satisfaction. SUPERVISION No direct reports. WORK ENVIRONMENT Daily outside the office environment working in your assigned territory, visiting customers in various weather and temperature conditions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year of sales experience preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required, with a good standing motor vehicle record. Experience in foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities. Ability to cultivate internal and external relationships and execute cold calls to develop new business. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. A competitive spirit with a drive to surpass goals. Strong problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills. A team-oriented mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
