Responsibilities

The Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care will Develop high-impact, innovative, evidence-based solutions designed to improve quality of care and control cost Assist in developing operating budget for salary and supply areas Monitor variance activity on a monthly basis. Consistently reviews department budget and implement cost containment strategies as needed Work with departmental leadership to develop strategies to enhance the patient experience. Monitor patient complaints in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Patient Relations to identify trends and plans of correction Develop a solid relationship with all aspects of Gotham Health Leadership and help assist, implement, delivery (and measures) the strategic plan at all community health sites Develop and implement services and program strategies that provide an exceptional patient-centered experience Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 5+ years of Nursing experience in a Senior Management role Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience managing complex Ambulatory care setting Experience with managing multiple Ambulatory sites Experience leading and managing in a complex union or management environment Desired Skills: Current certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing
