Overview We are seeking a qualified RN Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing department, ensuring the highest quality patient care in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Location: Denver, CO. Responsibilities Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing department. Lead a team of nurses and aides, fostering a supportive and professional environment. Coordinate care, participate in community health matters as appropriate, and liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs. Collect, analyze, and manage data; implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures. Maintain professional working relationships with associates and vendors; ensure confidentiality of information. Adhere to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures; uphold Life Care’s Code of Conduct. Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and excellent customer service; manage department budget and direct care provision; supervise nursing staff and assign CNA/LPN coverage per shift. Perform functions of a staff nurse as required and participate in mandatory training. Qualifications Minimum of an ASN degree from an accredited college or university. Currently licensed/registered in the applicable state; active RN license in good standing throughout employment. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a post-acute care or related setting. CPR certification at hire or obtained during orientation; CPR certification must remain current during employment. Essential Functions Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct staff; recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff. Assign appropriate levels of CNAs and LPNs per shift; manage department budget and evaluate care provided by nursing staff. Demonstrate excellent customer service; ensure patient rights, safety, and sanitation; maintain professionalism with associates and vendors. Read, write, speak, and understand English; communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team; maintain confidentiality. Understand and follow company policies; participate in required compliance training. Compensation : Sign-On Bonus up to $6,000 (terms as per policy).
