Description RN - Assisted Living Director - Manchester, NH Job Summary: The Resident Care Director is responsible for the Wellness Department. He/she assists and supports translating the assisted living philosophy into nursing practice by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system within the assisted living community. Essential Functions: • Responsible for the planning and execution of all Resident assessments. • Maintains oversight and implementation of Resident service plans, being attentive to each resident as an individual and in accordance with state-assisted living regulations. • Monitors the progress and effectiveness of a residents' service plan through written progress notes and verbal communication with the residents and associates. • Meets regularly with the supportive services, social services, resident, and family member or responsible party to evaluate the service needs. • Monitors and maintains compliance with all state regulations. • Responsible for ensuring all nursing department associates follow all state regulations and company policies and procedures. • Responsible for conducting appropriate skill competencies and overall performance evaluations annually for the nursing department associates Minimum Eligibility Requirements: • Registered Nurse, completed State-required training - BSN preferred • Ability to read, write, and speak English • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the general public • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly • Must meet all State health requirements • Must be able to perform duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation • Must pass a criminal background check Benefits: Dental Insurance
