Overview Elm Manor Nursing And Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team of professional caregivers. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of the facility, alongside the Director of Nursing. Your team will consist of your Director of Nursing, LPNs, and nursing assistants. Together we care for our residents, giving them a home away from home. This position is Monday-Friday. Compensation for this position is very competitive with benefits. Responsibilities Administer nursing care to residents Establish resident treatment plans and care plans Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding resident care Educate residents about health maintenance and disease prevention Maintain accurate resident medical records Provide emotional support to residents and their family members Qualifications Must possess a current NY state RN or LPN license in good standing Previous experience in geriatrics is preferred Familiarity with NYS DOH regulations and guidelines Dependable and reliable Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment CPR Certified Job Type Full-time Pay $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Schedule 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location In person
