Description The Managing Director has experience in a wide array of end markets in which Percheron operates. The individual will maintain client relationships and look for opportunities to expand opportunities within their assigned client base in pipeline. This position may be directing activities on multiple projects at the same time through subordinate Project Managers. Position is to work with Midstream Managing Partner to drive desired results and manage project team to accomplish goals. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Responsible for the financial performance of projects under management, gross margin, personal and team utilization, DSO and billable hours. Assist in project cost estimates and project proposals and review with Managing Partner for respective end market Interview and hire resources to execute projects effectively to meet client expectations Manage contingent workforce, compensation, staffing levels, and utilization Responsible for executing on multiple projects, including preparing weekly and monthly project analysis reports Manage client projects, providing consulting services, and identifying opportunities to expand cross-departmental services and integrated services. Meet with clients and direct reports on a quarterly Identify, create, and present training to develop staff knowledge, skills and abilities Maintain positive client and employee relationships Maintain and expand network through industry association involvement Ensure quality standards are adhered to for projects and ensure compliance with safety and compliance Conduct quarterly reviews of direct reports Review and approve travel and entertainment expenses of direct reports on a weekly basis Ensure accurate client invoices and assist in collections at appropriate escalation levels Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred. 5+ years of prior work experience. 5+ years of managing a team and project managing pipeline project experience. Project management certification preferred. Ability to effectively identify areas for assigned market improvements. Efficient time/priority management High level of organization and motivation Process driven, with ability to innovate/improve processes to achieve goals Strong communication skills and professionalism, with the ability to present information to varying groups Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others Ability to maintain composure and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing Ability to successfully communicate and influence at all levels in an organization, including external client negotiations. Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily. Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with the manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted). Ability to travel to field offices, industry events and client meetings Work Environment and Physical Demands Work may be performed 70% of the time in an office environment environment and 30% traveling to project locations, client meetings, or industry events. Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Is occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
