Provide clinical supervision and oversight of all residential services consistent with Medicaid Part 140 and the client’s individual treatment plan.
Serve as the lead Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) on-site, ensuring clinical appropriateness and integrity of services.
Coordinate and approve client admissions, treatment planning, continuing stay reviews, and discharges based on medical necessity criteria.
Ensure implementation of evidence-based interventions and recovery supports that promote stabilization, skill development, and community reintegration.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, prescribers, and crisis staff to ensure continuity of care.
Monitor documentation for clinical quality and compliance; audit and coach staff in accordance with agency and Medicaid billing standards.
Supervise Residential Advocates and other assigned staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
Provide regular individual and team supervision, ensuring staff competency in recovery-oriented practices, behavioral intervention, and crisis prevention.
Manage staff schedules, ensure appropriate shift coverage, and provide on-call support or delegation as needed.
Facilitate team meetings and clinical case reviews to ensure proactive care planning and risk mitigation.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that support safe and therapeutic residential environments.
Maintain documentation and reporting requirements for program compliance, including DHS licensure standards, internal audits, and accreditation bodies (e.g., CARF).
Track and report program outcomes, census, admissions/discharges, and service utilization.
Coordinate with agency leadership on budget planning, staffing levels, training needs, and quality improvement initiatives.
Lead or support emergency preparedness, incident response, and client grievance investigations within residential programs.
