As a Relationship Executive within the Consumer Industries Banking team with a focus on Beauty/Cosmetics and Household & Personal Care, your role is to be the focal point of client acquisition and ongoing relationships; Bankers work both independently and as part of a team to introduce our comprehensive solutions to clients. As a Banker, you are responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships within the Commercial and Specialized Industries target space.
Our Bankers are required to have deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to: Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions. Our strongest Bankers have a methodical approach to the market activity and prospecting. We deliver locally and therefore our ideal candidate develops deep connections and market knowledge within their territory.
Job Responsibilities
Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset
Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships
Find ways to further efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies
Provide proactive coverage of a multi-state/segment territory with primary coverage of the Pacific Segment as well as coverage in the Southwest and Midwest Segments.
Partner with colleagues within C&SI, primarily with Core, TDC/DCI and MNC as a Discipline banker
Become the industry expert within beauty/cosmetics and household & personal care across multiple subsectors including but not limited to: brands, suppliers, distribution and co-manufacturing owning relationships across the supply chain
Actively partner across lines of business including but not limited to: Investment Banking, Syndicated Finance, Asset Based Lending and Direct Lending
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Eight plus years’ direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships
Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services
Ability to collaborate with internal partners and resources
Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners
FINRA Series 79, 63 and Securities Industry Essentials licenses required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred
Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships
Strong creative solution, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask
Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self-directed, proactive and creative
