TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to oversee and coordinate rehabilitation services across a variety of healthcare settings. This position is primarily structured for travel assignments, offering a dynamic opportunity for leaders who are passionate about patient care and enjoy diverse clinical experiences.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team including physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
- Develop and implement department goals, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Coordinate treatment planning and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure staff adherence to ethical standards and safety protocols.
- Promote effective communication among departments to improve patient outcomes.
- Facilitate onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of clinical staff.
- Collaborate with administration and clinical teams to manage budgets, staffing levels, and operational efficiency.
- Travel to assigned healthcare facilities and ensure consistency of care and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- State licensure in at least one therapy discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to various assignments across facilities.
