We are looking for a director of operations (RN) who is ready to lead and serve. As a director of operations, you will plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate the daily operations to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, organizational policies and procedures, and established goals/budgets. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for your assigned branch’s financial success and serve as a driving force for growth by active involvement in sales and marketing activities.

Essential Functions: Who We Are Looking For
The Director of Operational Support is responsible for the overall financial, operational, clinical, and administrative functions of all designated branch locations. The Director of Operational Support is responsible for delivery of efficient, adequate, appropriate, and effective health care services to the agency patient population. The AVP of Operations is responsible for compliance to corporate standards as they apply to the overall mission of the organization. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall operations to ensure adherence to the federal and state regulations, and organizational policies and procedures and established goals. The Director of Operational Support supports growth by active involvement in sales and marketing activities. Responsible for assigned branch financial success. The Director of Operational Support may act as and assume duties as the Administrator and/or will assume duties and act as back up for the Administrator (if not a nurse would not be listed as provider number administrator) during temporary absences and/or vacancies as assigned.

Qualifications: A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
Education : Graduate of an accredited college or University, Bachelor's Degree in related health or business field required.
Experience : Minimum 5 year's Leadership experience in hospice or applicable field with direct report responsibility.
Skills : Requires demonstrated interpersonal, supervisory, and management skills with ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrates proven organizational development and project management. Exhibits working knowledge of hospice regulations and reimbursement as well as proven leadership abilities
Required: Reliable transportation. Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
