As a Regional Sales Director , you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets by performing the duties personally or through subordinates.
Responsibilities
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Develops and manages sales/marketing operating budgets.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projects expected volume for existing and new facilities.
Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies as applicable.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
Develops and recommends facility/modality positioning and price strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Customer service expectations Demonstrates competencies in customer service and an understanding of SimonMed Imaging code of conduct and culture.
Enlists the support of marketing specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed. Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
Job-related and professional growth Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. Participation in activities for the promotion of self-growth or the enhancement of a positive image.
Accountabilities and performance measures
Achesieves agreed upon sales quota in regions of oversight.
Manages all employees within the department and is responsible for performance management and hiring.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Environmental job requirements and working conditions This position requires travel to and from various parts of the country to establish relationships and build partnerships with large medical groups, health systems, and payers.

Minimum qualifications Experience: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and 2-5 years of experience in the field of business-to-business sales or related area. Managing a team of 5+ employees. Healthcare sales preferred but not required.
Physical demands: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods, with frequent standing and walking. Good visual and auditory acuity as well as good manual dexterity and the ability to be readily understood are essential. Must be able to work in an environment with multiple deadlines and priorities and in a stressful environment.
Dress attire: Business/Administrative wear.
