Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Operations Leader to drive manufacturing excellence across multiple sites in North America. This role is responsible for developing and executing operational strategies, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, leading plant teams, and optimizing performance through continuous improvement. .
Responsibilities
Develop and implement regional manufacturing and distribution strategies aligned with North American business objectives.
Ensure operational excellence in safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory adherence across all sites.
Lead and mentor plant managers and regional teams to drive performance, accountability, and talent development.
Oversee manufacturing quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Manage regional budgets, capital planning, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Ensure adequate manufacturing capacity to meet current and future demand.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, procurement, sales, and corporate teams to support business priorities.
Lead HR-related activities including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures across all regional operations.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; Master’s in Engineering or Operations Management preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, break-even analysis, and financial reporting.
Proven leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable working with vendor platforms and web-based systems.
Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, regulatory compliance, and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to timely and effective issue resolution.
Familiarity with hazardous material transportation regulations and customs certification processes.
Knowledge of MAPEI products and their applications is a plus.
