This role turns strategy into starts of care. You’ll partner with franchise leadership to define clear growth targets, train and mentor local sales teams, and activate market opportunities—from priority referral sources to ACO relationships—so more families can begin care without delay. By aligning KPIs, coaching in the field, and tightening execution, you help franchise partners scale sustainably while elevating the client experience across the communities we serve. In this remote position, your territory will be covering the Western U.S. states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada, with up to 50% travel required. To be considered for this position, candidates must reside in one of these states.

As the Regional Director of Sales, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
Collaborates with the VP of Franchise Partner Support and franchise sales teams to determine where and how to expand and establish associated targets.
Prepares roadmaps to reach targets in collaboration with local franchise teams.
Ensures that sales personnel at franchise partners are trained in the home health, hospice, and personal care service lines, necessary regulations, and target relationships.
Ensures that sales personnel at franchise partners are trained in sales techniques using Interim HealthCare training materials, facilitating training sessions, and mentoring where needed.
Provides on-site training and ride-alongs to Franchise Partner sales associates for mentoring and guidance.
Partners with Franchise Partners to implement Interim’s new national sales training program across the region.
Collaborates with Regional Sales managers and introduces tools and reporting for holding the team accountable for reaching growth targets.
Provides feedback to franchise partner sales personnel and to the curriculum development team to ensure best practices are being utilized and taught.
Identifies Accountable Care Organizations and works with franchise partners to participate.
A few must-haves for our Regional Director of Sales:
Bachelor’s degree with at least seven (7) years of sales experience and five (5) years of sales management experience in home health, hospice, or other healthcare setting.
Experience in and understanding of franchise network requirements.
Thorough knowledge of home health, hospice, and personal care services and the continuum of care.
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with a diverse population of Franchise Partners by seeking first to understand their businesses and providing solutions.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships and influence or mentor sales personnel.
Ability to travel 50% of the time for job-related franchise visits and company meetings.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Western region, preferably near a major airport.
