POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, the Regional Director of Recruitment leads strategic, region-wide recruitment initiatives to attract top talent for both full-time and part-time roles across the YMCA of the Triangle. This role partners closely with branch and association leadership, as well as external community organizations, to build a strong talent pipeline that supports the YMCA’s workforce needs and long-term goals.
The Regional Director is responsible for executing recruitment strategies in alignment with the YMCA’s mission and values, while ensuring compliance with policies established by administrative leadership, governing committees, and the Board of Directors.
They are responsible for managing those functions in accordance with the stated mission and policies established by the administrative staff, governing committees, and Board of Directors of the YMCA.
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3 years of experience in recruiting or related field.
Proficient in using digital tools and platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, and virtual collaboration tools.
Skilled in utilizing social media platforms for recruitment outreach, branding, and candidate engagement.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and independently manage recruitment activities and community outreach events from planning through execution.
Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for achieving recruitment goals without the need for constant supervision.
Proven track record of successfully organizing and executing recruitment campaigns and events in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
Resourceful and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment efforts and community engagement.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
Ability to multi-task and complete large volumes of projects and tasks.
Multi-lingual desired but not required.
