POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Vice President of Acquisitions will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new properties to expand our portfolio in Ohio, Indiana, and Northern Kentucky. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the healthcare and senior living industries, as well as strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
C onduct market research to identify potential acquisition targets.
Evaluate opportunities based on strategic fit, financial performance, and growth potential.
Lead the due diligence process, including financial analysis, site visits, and coordination with legal and financial teams.
Negotiate terms and conditions of acquisitions, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and other key stakeholders in the industry.
Develop and implement acquisition strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
Prepare and present detailed reports on acquisition activities and progress to senior management.
Work collaboratively and independently to solve problems.
Respond in a calm and professional manner in stressful situations.
Perform other tasks as assigned and within the scope of practice.
Oversee and support the acquisition team, providing training, coaching, development, and corrective action as needed.
Evaluate the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback.
Required/Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or similar, preferred.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in good standing.
Minimum 10 years of experience in acquisitions, commercial real estate, or related field with a focus on healthcare or senior living facilities.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Self-starter and problem solver, capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative team player with the ability to connect and work with team members at all levels.
High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new technology platforms as needed.
