If so, Vacation Village Resorts is looking for you to join our leadership team as our next Regional Director of Engineering.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee engineering and maintenance operations across a portfolio of premier resort properties. You’ll ensure our facilities operate efficiently, safely, and sustainably—while never losing sight of delivering an outstanding vacation experience. This position blends big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership, making it ideal for someone who can manage multi-million-dollar budgets, direct large-scale capital projects, and inspire engineering teams to achieve their best.
What You’ll Do Lead & Inspire: Guide engineering leaders at each resort, developing their skills and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.
Keep Us Running: Oversee all infrastructure, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs to keep our properties operating at peak performance.
Drive Projects Forward: Manage large-scale renovations, facility upgrades, and capital improvement projects from concept to completion.
Manage Resources: Develop and control multi-property budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Champion Safety & Sustainability: Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations and integrate environmentally responsible practices into every aspect of our operations.
Plan for the Future: Implement long-term asset management strategies that extend the life of our facilities and support our vision for operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For 7–10 years of engineering or facilities management experience in hospitality or timeshare (multi-property oversight preferred).
Proven success leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering capital projects on time and on budget.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (preferred).
Professional certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, project management, and vendor negotiation skills.
