The Opportunity Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Regional Director, Hotel Finance, to join our Americas Finance team. The Regional Director of Finance (RDOF) provides strategic financial leadership, oversight, and support for a portfolio of hotels within an assigned region. This role is accountable for driving profitability, operational performance, and compliance, while serving as a key business partner to Vice Presidents of Finance, Field Operations leadership, and property-level Directors of Finance. The RDOF ensures financial integrity, supports hotel operations, and leads initiatives that enhance both performance and long-term value creation. The Regional Director of Finance is a strategic and analytical leader with strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels. Adaptable and committed to continuous improvement, this leader drives both financial excellence and operational performance. Profit – Drive Financial Growth Lead financial strategy across the region to maximize revenues, control costs, and deliver sustained profitability.
Provide analysis and recommendations to General Managers, SVPs/VPs of Field Operations, and ownership groups on ROI, capital investments, and resource allocation.
Monitor financial and operational KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for revenue enhancement and margin improvement.
Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations leaders to align financial targets with business goals.
Performance – Elevate Operational Excellence Oversee and review hotel budgets, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly financial results, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
Collaborate with property and regional teams to establish, communicate, and achieve financial and operational objectives.
Conduct site visits to provide financial guidance, performance reviews, and problem resolution.
Mentor and develop hotel Directors and Assistant Directors of Finance, building succession plans and strengthening financial acumen across leadership teams.
Lead and support initiatives that improve productivity, enhance financial management, and elevate guest and colleague experiences.
Compliance – Safeguard Integrity Ensure adherence to Hyatt Standard Operating Procedures, Uniform System of Accounts, GAAP/IFRS, and local regulatory requirements.
Serve as primary point of contact for finance-related legal, tax, and audit questions on behalf of hotels.
Partner with Finance Shared Services to streamline accounting processes, drive efficiencies, and maintain strong internal controls.
Ensure compliance with management agreements, including management fee calculations, performance tests, reserves, and audit obligations.
Support risk management efforts and safeguard company assets through effective governance.
Additional responsibilities include Support Vice Presidents of Finance with oversight of assigned portfolio to ensure accounting principles are followed in all hotels, as well as compliance with management agreement terms, such as, Management Fee calculation, Performance tests, F&E provisions, contracting authority and audit requirements.

Experience Required: 10+ years of progressive hospitality finance experience, including at least 3–5 years in a multi-property or above-property finance leadership role.
Proven track record as a Director of Finance or similar senior role within hotels.
Strong financial systems expertise (Hyperion/Essbase, Excel advanced proficiency).
Demonstrated leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and communicate insights effectively.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Willingness to travel regionally (for an estimated 50%).
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or Hospitality. Experience Preferred:
MBA
Any professional certifications – CPA, CHAE, ect
Experience with function-specific systems

The salary range for this position is $131,300 - $165,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus.
