The Recreation Director will work to activate the community amenity spaces and serve as a primary resource to the community residents. Leadership Team to assist with the management of the day-to-day operations of the community clubhouses. This will include managing a diverse team to cover the front desk, fitness classes & programming, tennis programs, and more as needed to successfully meet the needs of our residents. Qualified candidates must be able to work full-time hours that are flexible and will include nights, weekends, and occasional holidays. Candidates must also be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods of time, and will be required to repetitively lift and move up to 35 lbs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop, market, and implement wellness initiatives and events Update and manage website content, class calendars, and marketing materials Recruit, vet, onboard, and manage wellness instructors and personal trainers Oversee contractors, collect resident feedback, and ensure quality service Track class attendance, cancellations, and update schedules as needed Organize and host instructor meetings and staff communications Provide gym orientations and match residents with appropriate recommendations Streamline and improve fitness pass systems and operational processes. Process instructor invoices and manage wellness program budgeting Serve as the main point of contact for fitness equipment maintenance Maintain and update homeowner databases to keep everything current and organized. Prepare materials for Board meetings and attend as needed. Support review of monthly financial reports and assist in budget-related discussions. Monitor delinquencies and aid in collections follow-up. Keep unit and contract files up-to-date and audit-ready. Jump in on routine tasks and special projects to support manager. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills Tech-savvy: Microsoft Office proficiency and comfortable with digital marketing tools Independent, proactive work ethic with a positive and patient attitude Experience in health, wellness, fitness, or related fields Familiarity with social media management and website updates Creative thinker with a passion for innovative wellness programming
