Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract role allows you to utilize your expertise in a busy, Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment equipped with advanced imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of radiology exams including general radiography and fluoroscopy using state-of-the-art equipment such as Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose units, and GE/Siemens R/F rooms.
  • Provide imaging services for patients from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settings.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team including lead techs, modality supervisors, and imaging managers to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Uphold departmental standards in a fast-paced, high acuity clinical environment.
  • Participate in call rotations fairly distributed among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff.
  • Engage in a comprehensive 5-day departmental orientation, with flexibility to tailor to your experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of radiology tech experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
  • Required certifications: ARRT-R and BLS.
  • Confident clinical skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a cooperative team-player attitude are highly valued.

Schedule & Contract Details:

  • 13-week contract with no weekend/weekday rotations; consistent shift assignment based on contract terms.
  • Full 24/7/365 coverage with various shifts available to match staffing needs.
  • Holiday coverage expected unless pre-approved.
