We’re seeking a Project Management Director, North America for one of the largest OEM/ODM electronics group of companies. This role will report to the corporate VP/Head of Project Management and act as the senior project liaison with key clients in North America, driving business engagement and early-stage product development. US citizen/Green card holder is a must. Responsibilities Partner with senior executives, clients, and cross-functional teams to align program objectives with business strategy. Drive execution of multiple projects, from concept through mass production. Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation. Ensure seamless coordination between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams. Lead project reviews with internal teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. Monitor program KPIs, escalating issues and driving resolutions proactively. Act as the senior project liaison with key accounts, ensuring alignment with expectations. Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns to maintain trust and long-term partnerships. Translate customer requirements into clear deliverables for internal execution teams. Build and mentor a team of project and program managers, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence. Develop best practices in program management tailored to the fast-paced consumer electronics industry. Champion cross-functional collaboration across global sites and partners. Support organizational change initiatives and scalability as the company grows. Requirements/Desired Profile 12+ years of experience in program/project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within consumer electronics OEM/ODM or related hardware industries. Proven track record of managing complex, high-volume product development projects for US-based key accounts/clients. Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management (concept, design, validation, ramp-up, and mass production). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and quality systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with project management software and methodologies (PMP, Agile, or equivalent certifications a plus). Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced Silicon Valley environment and travel internationally as needed.
