ROWI is focused specifically on teens (12 -17 years) and their parents. ROWI offers a Partial Hospitalization Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program. Our Centers offer best-in-class evidence-based and holistic treatments, services and resources. ROWI feels that success must include both the teen and their parents. To ensure such success, ROWI offers a unique Parent Coaching Program, in addition to our family therapy. ROWI offers social skills training to teens with ASD, implementing the UCLA PEERS Social Skills Program.
*Position Summary:*
The Program Director is responsible for the supervision of the treatment program and facility. The Program Director consults with the Clinical Director on an as-needed basis to ensure the best, most efficient utilization of program and company resources. The Program Director closely supervises all services to assure they are delivered, in keeping with the ROWI's mission statement. The Program Director collaborates with their supervisor to develop a program of in-service training and continuing education for the treatment staff, and oversees the Treatment Plan and the evolvement/development of the ROWI's Treatment Program.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Audits EMR and clinical documentation. Ensures that documentation is completed in a timely manner and to professional standards.
* Conducts utilization review and communicates efficiently with the business office, parents, and senior management.
* Supervises the therapist to ensure treatment plans are being implemented and updated.
* Monitor and assess staff morale and build team spirit and continuity.
* Participate in the interview process to determine the appropriateness and qualifications of prospective staff members.
* Is Available by telephone evenings and weekends; manages crisis or emergency situations as needed.
* Completes performance reviews of the program staff, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and goals for the coming year.
* Serve as a role model to treatment staff, clients, employees, and guests through a positive, caring, and professional attitude.
* Maintain the confidential nature of clients and related activities.
* Comply with the dress code.
* Complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
* Attend designated staff and in-service meetings.
* Any additional duties as assigned by the management team.
* All documentation in EMR must be submitted within 24 hours.
*Other Related Skills and Abilities:*
* Able to maintain clear boundaries with clients and staff.
* Ability to write reports or articles.
* Ability to efficiently present at workshops and conferences on related clinical topics, respond to questions from professional groups, referral sources, parents and the general public.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Proficient in basic computer skills.
* Able to maintain clear boundaries with clients and staff.
* Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
*Basic Education and Experience Required:*
* Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited or state approved graduate school in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or Social Work. The Program Director will be fully licensed as a MFT, clinical psychologist or social worker.
* Two years of experience in treatment or hospital setting.
*Knowledge/Competencies:*
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Must work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
* Ability to set priorities and handle multiple assignments.
* Has a working knowledge of Psychopathology, Diagnostic Assessment, and related treatment interventions.
* Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability and knowledge.
* Able to assess clients upon admission and formulate the plan for treatment
* Possesses knowledge of Axis One diagnosis and what symptoms typically present in adolescents.
* Documents clearly and efficiently.
* Able to present and manage cases in a knowledgeable and professional manner to obtain a length of stay that allows enough time for clients to make sufficient gains so that sustained post- discharge progress can occur.
* Must be able to communicate with people from all educational and cultural backgrounds.
* Must have strong written communication skills.
* Must cope constructively with stressful situations.
* Must demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, professional manner, enthusiasm, and non-judgmental attitude.
* Documents clearly and efficiently.
Full Time Salaried Position. \*Pay commensurate with experience and license: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year plus quarterly Bonus.
