Maximus is seeking a visionary and results-driven Program Director to lead a high-impact public service initiative in Mississippi . This executive-level role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of program performance, financial management, and client engagement within a dynamic call center environment. As Program Director, you will serve as the primary liaison with the state client, ensure full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, and drive strategic planning to meet operational goals. You’ll lead a team of operations managers, guide performance outcomes, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the Project's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing profit and loss statements to ensure financial targets are met and profitability is maintained. - Act as the primary contact for the state client - Ensure program operations are in compliance with all applicable requirements of the contract, as well as State and federal regulations. - Ensure goals and objectives are established by Project Manager that support the overall Project strategies. - Oversee all project administrative operations including budget, financial controls, and human resources. - Plan, develop and schedule priorities for achieving operational and performance goals. - Review management, productivity, and financial reports and studies to ensure program objectives are met. - Participate in internal audits, research studies, forecasts, and modeling exercises to support Project direction and guidance. - Manage operational managers, to include performance appraisals, mentoring, and professional/development guidance. - Demonstrate a high level of dedication and proactive leadership in meeting corporate goals and program objectives. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. - Participates in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect operations and may also have organization-wide effects- Works collaboratively and effectively with IT to make sure product and service applications and technologies are optimized for assigned contract compliance, productivity, and quality performance- Maintains primary responsibility for providing customer satisfaction, resolving compliance issues, accountability for profit and loss, and adherence to operational budgets with assigned contracts Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required. Program Specific Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree- Master's Degree preferred- Must reside in or near Jackson or Ridgeland, Mississippi- Willing and able to work onsite - Experience supporting Child Support programs is preferred- Experience with Community Resource Support services is a plus- Proficient in Microsoft Office required- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred- Ability to manage large-scale operations, including on multiple sites- Strong client management skills - Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently#HumanServices #LI-Onsite
