The Program Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. *Responsibilities* * Lead the development and implementation of programs tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. * Manage daily operations, ensuring programs are running efficiently and effectively. * Supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team performance. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure collaborative service delivery. * Oversee budgeting processes related to program operations, ensuring financial accountability and sustainability. * Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and evaluation results. * Develop training materials and facilitate workshops for staff on best practices in service delivery and relationship management. * Prepare reports for stakeholders that outline program progress, challenges, and successes.
*Skills* * Strong relationship management skills to build rapport with clients, families, and community partners. * Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. * Proficient in administrative tasks including budgeting, program development, and management. * Ability to supervise a diverse team effectively while fostering an inclusive work environment. * Background in social work or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively across various audiences.
