About the role and our team The Knot Worldwide is looking for a seasoned Product Marketing Director to join our Product Marketing team and drive early selection and repeat purchasing within our eCommerce, Wedding Website, and Guest offering. Reporting to the Senior Director of Consumer Product Marketing, this hands-on role thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces innovation and collaboration, and acts as an advocate for the customer, an expert storyteller, and a key contributor to business outcomes. The role will optimize the user experience to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion, working closely with eCommerce & Guest product, business, and merchandising partners.
Responsibilities Drive a consistent, deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape.
Translate insights into fuel to influence product roadmap and experimentation to create value for couples planning their weddings.
Craft the story into compelling product positioning, reasons to believe, and claims.
Proactively monitor performance and provide recommendations based on analysis and learnings.
Demonstrate deep product and marketing comprehension with the technical understanding to enable cross-functional partnership.
Tailor communication of high-level strategic initiatives and specific tactics internally and externally by audience.
Deliver clear verbal and written communications as a confident speaker.
Find thoughtful, proactive ways to deliver a diverse and inclusive offering that meets unique user needs and enables a personalized, authentic planning experience.
Successful candidates have 10+ years of digital Product Marketing experience
Experience with tech and eCommerce-focused businesses, optimizing for conversion and repeat purchasing
Experience with consumer research best practices including packaging and pricing strategies
Proficiency in partnering with CRM to create strategic, delightful, and highly performant consumer touchpoints
Imaginative, solution-oriented thinking with a strong point of view and hypothesis-building ability
Proven track record partnering with Product and Marketing teams to bring valuable, differentiated products to market and sustain them
Ability to drive urgency and clear prioritization based on impact on user problems
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and calm under pressure
Able to manage multiple projects, prioritizing and organizing effectively
Outstanding writing and editing with meticulous attention to detail
Strategic thinker who can also roll up sleeves to execute
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management
Passion for consumer-centric thinking, messaging that performs, and using data to drive alignment
