DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee). The Impact you will have in this role: The Executive Director – Product Specialist, Digital Assets will play a pivotal role in advancing DTCC’s strategy for digital assets and distributed ledger technology (DLT). Serving as a senior subject matter expert, this leader will engage with clients, industry stakeholders, and regulators to position DTCC at the forefront of digital market infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in digital asset markets, tokenization, custody/settlement models, and regulatory frameworks, combined with the ability to translate this knowledge into actionable strategies that drive adoption and growth
Key Responsibilities Serve as the senior product ambassador for Digital Assets, representing DTCC in client engagements, industry forums, and regulatory discussions. Partner with Product Management, Technology, and Business Development to define and execute the digital assets strategy, roadmap, and product positioning. Provide thought leadership on tokenization, DLT, custody, settlement, and interoperability within traditional financial markets. Collaborate with sales and relationship management teams to drive client engagement, adoption, and commercial outcomes. Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, training, and market commentary to internal and external stakeholders. Gather and synthesize market intelligence, client feedback, and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions and product enhancements. Act as executive sponsor for key digital asset initiatives and client partnerships, ensuring alignment with DTCC’s broader mission. Mentor and guide product specialists and junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and client focus. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in financial services, digital assets, or market infrastructure, with significant exposure to product strategy or specialist roles. Deep expertise in digital assets, tokenization, blockchain/DLT applications, and post-trade services. Strong understanding of regulatory and risk considerations for digital assets in global markets. Proven success in driving new product adoption, shaping market narratives, and influencing executive-level clients and stakeholders. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for executive, regulatory, and client audiences. Track record of cross-functional collaboration and leadership without direct authority, particularly with technology, legal, risk, and operations teams. Advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or equivalent) strongly preferred. Actual salary is determined based on the role, location, individual experience, skills, and other considerations.
