Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education or child development. ZA or ZS endorsement (endorsements issued by the Department of Education in conjunction with a teaching certificate). A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day. Experience working with early childhood students in a preschool setting. Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively. Capable of building relationships with families and staff and creating a dynamic environment where play and discovery go hand-in-hand. Ability to lead recruitment and enrollment efforts of new families and children in our sites. Must meet state specific guidelines for the role. Must be familiar with Early Childhood Curriculum. Ability to use technology with basic proficiency at a minimum. Open to and enthusiasm for creative, child-centered programming, such as outdoor learning, nature-based curriculum, or other innovative early childhood education approaches. Experience working in a Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) or similar publicly funded preschool program (e.g., Preschool for All), with a strong understanding of state guidelines and compliance requirements. Ability to coordinate and lead professional development for preschool staff. Duties: Primary responsibilities will be teaching, supervision of preschool, administrative recordkeeping, and recruitment efforts. This position will likely be combined to make a full-time position
Salary: As per negotiated district contract/PCMI/Non-union position
